Richard went into the hospital at the start of the month
with a mystery lung infection
and ended up in intensive care...
and he said, "you know what's gonna happen"
and I said, "yea, we're gonna stay overnight
and they'll put some antibiotics in me
and we'll get this thing dealt with"
and he said
"no, it's much worse than that
I've looked at the x-ray
it's horrible
and if i don't put you into an induced coma
for at least a week
you're probably going to die"
it was the most shocking moment of my life, I cried, she cried...
so bad we need to do it in the next twenty minutes...
space of forty-five seconds
from thinking about making lunch tomorrow to
going into a coma for nine days
when I came round
everything that I believed
not ninety-five percent to be true
one hundred percent to be true...
it took a couple days but one of the doctors had to sit me down
and say right what do you think happened
that didn't happen and
that didn't happen, you invented that, that didn't happen
and there were things that-
